Wild Moment: Holly Hayward

Artist Holly's inspiration came from watching her mother in: "Not the most wildest of places, maybe, but a beautiful moment captured in a 'wildly cultivated' back garden on the Shropshire/ Welsh borderlands."

The Blackbird Whisperer

He watched and he waited
And he waited and he watched
Until along the path she came
The woman with white hair

He bobbed and he chirped
And he chirped and he bobbed
Until the outstretched hand produced
The magic mix of meal

He trusted her and sang to her
And trusted her some more
Until temptation quelled all fear
He darted for his prize 

So everyday she waits for him
And he, he waits for her
For such a glorious sight is that, 
The woman with white hair.
